The amateur's dilemma

Seriously though, thank you for the compliment. Experimenting with comics and the web is important to me and it keeps things fun but it's just as important (for me) to try and have a good grasp on basic level cartooning. I really enjoy writing this type of comic and I think i may be starting to develop my own voice with them. I feel like my approach is really starting to gel and I'm getting closer and closer to what I want to do with these little stories. I also feel there's a lot of experimentation that is still possible within a more conventional storytelling context. That's the aim I've been working towards with the blog this year. I'm simultaneously refining my approach and working on expanding the larger concept behind "mostly banal." Hopefully I'll get to unveil all of this in the coming months...
